i think the only reason i can tolerate religion is because most religions i know of have values that are important and good. however, i made this stamp because i don't need God to be a good person. i can be that on my own.

though i'm surprised you disagree that someone can be a good person without God, seeing as that is the meaning of this stamp.

Totally agree.

If anything, I think religious folks do themselves a disservice whenever they say it's impossible to be a good person without God, as it makes it sound like religious people are incapable of being good unless they have a higher authority telling them to be that way.

I agree...

The more I think about it, the more religion sort of just seems like endless circles of excuses to me.
And unanswered questions.
And more questions only answered with excuses.

i agree...sometimes i see people so absorbed in their faith and i can't help but wish i had something to believe in like them, but at the same time all i can think is "how can they see truth in this?" but to each their own, you know?
